Wednesday, November 8th is National Indigenous Remembrance Day. Our Remembrance Day Assembly will take place between recess and lunch on Friday. Due to very limited seating capacity, we will need to restrict parent access. Normally we now are able to only have parents attend who have performing children, but this assembly will be even tighter for space. A reminder that our National Remembrance Day is on Saturday and school will be closed on Monday.
The ceremony of Remembrance Day that honors all military heroes who died in the First World War for the Commonwealth member states, the red poppy is a symbol of remembrance and hope for peaceful world.
